In psychiatric circles, it is known as ‘muscle dysmorphia‘ (an obsession about being muscular) but to the layman it’s Bigorexia. (BIG.uh.rek.see.uh) is a mental disorder in which patients – typically men and typically bodybuilders- view themselves through a distorted lens and become obsessed about what they perceive as their physical inadequacies. It’s the big brother disease to anorexia, except that bigorexia is to “huge” what anorexia is to “thin.”

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to tell within fifteen minutes whether someone likes you or not? There are subtle clues that people inadvertently give that can let you know if they feel favorably about you, or not. Most of these clues are expressed unconsciously and via body language that is observable.

The Eyebrow Raise

The eyebrow raise is generally reserved for members of the opposite sex who like what they see and it happens straight away. You will have to be on the ball to catch this happening as it only takes a second or so to take place, but is a clear indication that the person raising their eyebrows is pleased to see you.

More than 347,000 breast augmentations were performed in the United States in 2008, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. That’s a surprising 12 percent drop from 2007 – a sag most plastic surgeons attribute to the deflating economy.

Still, that’s a lot of excess boobage.
