We didn’t think guys cared much about makeup. Once again science has proven us wrong: What really gets men going is sexy, lusty, smoky eyes.

As Cosmo recently reported, an MIT study revealed that dudes are most drawn to a woman when her eyes are shaded darker than her face.

The theory is that across all ethnicities, women have a greater contrast around their eyes compared to their skin than men do. Thus, when a guy ogles the chick with the smoky eyes across the room, it’s because he equates her dark lids with femininity.

Who knew? We thought that guys were more into the au naturale look … We guess we’ll have to save our favorite Chanel nude shadow for all-girls movie night and partying with our gays from now on.
